All over the world, women are coming to together to discuss books. Some clubs even bring mothers and daughters together to discuss books that reveal and rethink and celebrate the roles of women. I invite you to ask your friends over for a monthly book club to discuss Prime. Here are some questions to consider.
1) When do you think is the Prime of a woman's life?

2) When do you think is the Prime of a man's life?

3) Are they different and if so why--or why not?

4) Is it true that older women are sexually invisible in our society?  If so, do you think it's cultural and can be changed?

5) Which movie stars over 50 have retained their "lushness"? How do they do it?

6) What’s the difference between sex in a woman’s twenties and sex in her fifties?

7) How can women keep their sexual intensity and desirability?

8) Is it important to retain desire or is its dilution the natural order of things?

9) How do you feel about sex for adventure as opposed to sex in the context of a deeper, meaningful relationship?

10) What if a deeper more emotionally intimate relationship isn't possible. Is there ever a role for a "friend with benefits"?

11) Just how dangerous do you think it is to go out and get intimate with men you meet traveling?

12) How can you spot a toxic man?

13) How do you cure an attraction to toxic men?

14) What about the book is good for young women? What not so much?

15) Would you ever take a younger lover on a vacation? A Kuta Cowboy-gigolo type?   Why or why not?

16) Could you fall in love with and be committed to a younger lover?

17) What do you think makes a man a good lover? What did you think of Pepper's feelings about the “special gifts and talent” that her over Dennis had?

18) Can someone be taught to be a good lover?

19) What is the status of the double standard today for women-- related to being sexually adventurous (based on women you know, not those in the media)?

20) What can you do this week to celebrate your sexuality and feel lush?
