 When it comes to finding a safe and sensual vacation destination for women, nothing matches Bali. As Prime readers know, I fell in love with the unique island culture. The photos document my trip illustrated in Prime’s Chapter 9. |
 I meet Dom at the airport and our first destination is the Conrad Hotel built on the Indian Ocean. Relaxation and inspiration is guaranteed.  Next we move to the village of Seminyak and The Sura Bungalows. Our favorite place is down the road at Laluciola Restaurant offering delicious food and sunset drinks.  Here you see the Antique Spa. The large wooden bowl was filled with warm water and rose petals for my foot massage prior to the four-hand massage and body shampoo.  Dom and I arrive The Amanusa, set up on the hills above a stunning beach.  We enjoy an Amanusa breakfast in a bale facing the ocean…one of the many sensual pleasure the resort - and Bali - offers  We headed North to Ubud and, on a tour hosted by the Amandari hotel, encountered a community dance competition and festival.  The Amandari's charming guide Darma. We walked together above the gorgeous terraced hills and rice paddies of Ubud. Here we are in a bale tucked away in the jungle, giving thanks for a breakfast.  Our last days in Bali are spent at the Amankila resort on the black sand beaches of Candidasa. One unforgettable experience was an elaborate beachside dinner in a private cove. After Dom and I finished this amazing meal, I wrote the final chapter of Prime. |
